The Liverpool forward returns to England’s second tier having made 43 appearances in the division while with Stoke City during the previous campaign.
Now a senior Wales international, Koumas has been with the Reds since joining the Academy from Tranmere Rovers as an U11 player.
He achieved his first-team debut for the club in the Emirates FA Cup tie against Southampton at Anfield in February 2024 and marked it with the opening goal of a 3-0 win.
That milestone came just days after Koumas was on the bench for Liverpool’s Carabao Cup final victory over Chelsea at Wembley.
He signed a new contract with the club last summer before linking up with Stoke.
