Four more players have been confirmed for Liverpool FC Legends' upcoming Anfield clash with Manchester United.

Luis Garcia, Albert Riera, Stewart Downing and Gregory Vignal are the latest former Reds to join Sir Kenny Dalglish’s squad for the second leg of the Legends of the North showdown next weekend.

LFC Legends won the opening meeting 3-1 in May and will be out to complete victory over their rivals at Anfield on Saturday September 24 (kick-off 3pm BST).

The LFC Foundation match, brought to you in association with Forever Reds – the official LFC former players association – raises vital funds for charitable causes.

One hundred per cent of the proceeds raised from the event will support LFC Foundation’s community programmes, as well as Forever Reds, Cash for Kids and IntoUniversity.

Garcia, Riera, Downing and Vignal will line up alongside the likes of Xabi Alonso, Maxi Rodriguez and Martin Skrtel for the special occasion at Anfield next Saturday.

Tickets for the game are on sale now, priced at £27 for adults, £7 for juniors and £17 for over 65s.
