Sean was nominated by his younger brother Liam, who says he 'epitomises' what it means to be an older brother and father figure, after the pair suffered the loss of their dad during a game at Anfield when they were respectively 13 and eight years of age.

In the video, Sean discusses his experience and opens up on his involvement with Honeysuckle FC – an LFC Foundation programme designed to help support men who have experienced baby loss – after he and his wife, Natalie, suffered the tragic loss of their first child, Ava, late in pregnancy.

They have since welcomed two boys into the family – Alfie and Freddie – and Gakpo made a surprise visit to their home before giving them all a guided tour of the AXA Training Centre.

Sean and his family were then invited to Anfield to witness the Reds' clinching of the Premier League title against Tottenham Hotspur in April.
