NewsCody Gakpo reaches milestone of 50 goals for Liverpool

The Dutch attacker reached the half-century of strikes for the club by scoring against Manchester United on Sunday.

He became the 58th player in Reds history to achieve that figure and did so on his 177th appearance since joining in January 2023.

Thirty-two of Gakpo's goals have come in the Premier League, nine in the Carabao Cup, five in the Champions League and four in the Europa League.

The No.18 opened his Liverpool account a month after arriving from PSV Eindhoven, in a 2-0 win over Everton at Anfield in the league.

Gakpo is the second Dutchman to reach the half-century for the Reds, emulating Dirk Kuyt.
