NewsBeata Olsson retains LFC Women Player of the Month award
Beata Olsson has retained Liverpool FC Women's Standard Chartered Player of the Month award by winning the prize for December.
The Swedish forward claimed the most votes in a supporter poll on Liverpoolfc.com for the second successive month after continuing her excellent form.
Olsson was on the scoresheet twice in the final month of 2025, taking her tally for the Reds to eight in all competitions.
After collecting the prize, the No.11 said: "It means a lot. It's so nice to feel the love of the fans all behind me and behind the whole team.
"This is the best award, I would say, because the fans are the club and their support means a lot."
Olsson was presented with her award at a team meeting, when head coach Gareth Taylor's announcement was met by applause from the squad.
"It was really nice and all the girls were really lovely about it," she added. "I wouldn't be getting this award without them."

Olsson began December by making Barclays Women's Super League history in the 2-1 defeat at Arsenal, becoming the only player to score in as many as four of her first five starts in the division.
The following weekend against West Ham United, the 24-year-old provided an assist for Mia Enderby and then converted late on to secure a 2-2 draw for the 10-player Reds.
On those strikes against Arsenal and West Ham, she reflected: "That was a cool goal [at Arsenal] and it meant a lot because it got us level, so those type of goals are really important for the team.
"The West Ham one was a more important one because it was the equaliser and we got an important point. I hope the scoring continues to help this team."
