Jurgen Klopp will start rebuilding his Liverpool squad by signing Leicester's teenage left-back Ben Chilwell.

The 18-year-old has turned down a new £18,000-a-week deal offered by the title-winning Foxes, with Klopp's Reds and Arsenal hot on his heels.

Liverpool are likely to have to pay around £3m for Chilwell, who has played for England at Under-18, U19, U20 and U21 levels and is frustrated at a lack of opportunities at Leicester, where Christian Fuchs is first-choice left-back.

The youngster has yet to make his Premier League debut and has made just three Leicester appearances in the domestic cups, so it remains to be seen if he'd slot straight into the Liverpool team.
