Liverpool eye River Plate star
Liverpool have reportedly made a £5.7million bid for River Plate forward Lucas Alario.
However, the Reds’ offer has not reached the £8.5 million asking price that the club have set, reveals Argentine outlet Infobae.
Inter Milan, Ajax, and Palermo are also interested in the 23-year-old, who has a contract that runs until 2018.
The striker has two goals and two assists in four Primeira Division appearances this season, and has impressed scouts from the Merseyside outfit enough to make them submit a bid.
