Sara Agrez, defender - Liverpool FC
Centre-back Sara Agrez joined Liverpool FC Women in the summer of 2026 following the expiry of her contract with Cologne.
A Slovenia international with more than 50 caps to her name, Agrez spent two-and-a-half years with the Frauen-Bundesliga club.
The left-sided defender had seven years in total in German football, a journey that began in May 2019 when she joined Turbine Potsdam from ZNK Mura in her homeland. Agrez signed for Wolfsburg two years later and then arrived at Cologne in January 2024.
She started 23 of Cologne's 26 league games in 2025-26 and bolstered the level of experience and quality within Gareth Taylor's defensive ranks ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
