Denise O'Sullivan, midfielder - Liverpool FC
Hugely experienced Republic of Ireland international Denise O'Sullivan joined Liverpool FC Women in January 2026.
A midfielder with more than 120 caps for her country, she made the move to Merseyside after almost nine years at North Carolina Courage in the USA.
She captained the Courage during the second half of her spell, too, and departed the States having won the NWSL Championship twice, the NWSL Shield three times and the NWSL Challenge Cup on two occasions.
Born in Cork, her football career first began with Wilton United, Peamount United and Cork City on home soil, before a trophy-laden stint at Glasgow City.
Eight honours amassed in Scotland included three successive league titles and the division's Players' Player of the Year accolade at the end of 2014.</...
