Jonathan Power became Liverpool FC's club doctor during the 2022-23 season.

A Reds fan since childhood, he joined Jürgen Klopp's backroom staff at the AXA Training Centre after more than a decade working across several sporting disciplines, including extensive experience in football.

Hailing from West Derby, he studied at Leeds University and then went on to achieve a master's degree in sports and exercise medicine at the University of Nottingham before completing higher specialist training in sport and exercise medicine in Yorkshire.

After serving as head of medical services at Leeds Rugby, encompassing work with Leeds Rhinos and Yorkshire Carnegie, Jonathan moved to the Football Association.
