Chris Morgan, Head of Performance Physical Therapy - Liverpool FC
Chris Morgan
Head of Performance Physical Therapy
Chris initially joined Liverpool back in 2005 as part of Rafael Benitez’s backroom team, eventually assuming the role of head of physiotherapy between 2012 and 2016.
After a period away from the club working at both Crystal Palace and Arsenal in the position of head physio, he returned to the Reds to re-join Jürgen Klopp's staff in 2020.
In a new position of head of performance physical therapies, he is now tasked with leading all elements of player care and therapy in the performance space, essentially working closely with the fit players in the squad, whilst optimising daily treatment interventions and exercise therapies for acute and chronic issues, with a focus on turning around short term-injuries to keep players performing and available.
