Andoni Iraola was appointed as Liverpool FC head coach in the summer of 2026.
His arrival at Anfield followed three successful seasons in charge of AFC Bournemouth, where he combined style with substance.
While furthering his reputation as a coach who subscribes to a fearless and relentless brand of attacking football, Iraola led the Cherries to consecutive finishes of 12th, ninth and sixth in the Premier League.
His final campaign there culminated in the south-coast club qualifying for Europe for the first time in their history.
Iraola's journey in coaching began in November 2016, when he called time on a playing career during which he achieved legendary status at Athletic Club.
