Trent Kone-Doherty, forward - Liverpool FC
Trent Kone-Doherty arrived at the Liverpool FC Academy in July 2022 and signed his first professional contract in the following year.
He was previously with his hometown club Derry City.
A tricky and exciting winger blessed with great pace, Kone-Doherty started Kirkby life with the U18s as a first-year scholar in 2022-23.
Before injury curtailed his season, Kone-Doherty was in brilliant form, netting 11 goals and providing numerous assists, and also starring in the UEFA Youth League for the U19s.
He made his Premier League 2 debut for the U21s in 2023-24 and enjoyed a fruitful campaign, scoring his first hat-trick in a 7-1 win over Sunderland and excelling in the 7-1 FA Youth Cup rout against Arsenal when he bagged a double.
