Luca Stephenson, midfielder - Liverpool FC
Luca Stephenson signed his first professional contract with Liverpool FC in September 2020 and then penned a new extended deal with the club in February 2022.
Luca is a creative player who can also play as a holding midfielder in the No.6 role, and joined the Reds from Sunderland at U15 level.
He made his debut for the U18s in 2019-20 as an U16 player and was captain of Marc Bridge-Wilkinson's U18s group for the 2020-21 season.
Stephenson is now a regular in the U21s squad and he helped Barry Lewtas' charges secure runners-up position in Premier League 2 during 2022-23. He is also capable of netting spectacular goals, such as his brilliant strike against Manchester United.
A great competitor who will play anywhere for the good of the team, he also featured at right-back and centre-half during 2022-23.
Stephenson then took another step in his development in the early weeks of 2023-24, joining League Two outfit Barrow on loan and going on to make 34 appearances.
He would head north of the border in 2024-25 to enjoy a temporary spell at Dundee United in the Scottish Premiership.
