NewsWho has qualified for the 2026-27 Champions League?

Liverpool will be one of the sides featuring in Europe's premier competition next season, on account of their fifth-placed finish in the Premier League.

England and Spain earned an extra spot in the league phase based on the collective performance of their clubs in European competition in the term just completed.

The remaining seven league-phase teams will be determined in late August upon completion of the qualifying rounds.

England: Arsenal, Manchester City, Manchester United, Aston Villa, Liverpool

Spain: Barcelona, Real Madrid, Villarreal, Atletico Madrid, Real Betis

Italy: Internazionale, Napoli, AS Roma, Como

Germany: Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig, VfB Stuttgart

France: Paris Saint-Germain, RC Lens, LOSC Lille

Netherlands: PSV Eindhoven, Feyenoord

Portugal: FC Porto, Sporting CP

Belgium: Club Brugge

Czechia: Slavia Prague

Turkiye: Galatasaray

Ukraine: Shakhtar Donetsk

The league phase gets under way on September 8-10 and concludes with simultaneous matches on January 27, 2027.

The knockouts begin with play-offs in February of next year, followed by the Round of 16 in March.

The Champions League culminates in the final at Estadio Metropolitano in Madrid on Saturday June 5, 2027.
