The striker was on target twice inside the opening quarter-hour of Wednesday’s league-phase fixture in Turkiye.
Josh Sonni-Lambie and Finn Inglethorpe joined him among the goals, in between an Emin Sayar brace for the home team.
Baran Yolacan brought Fenerbahce back to within one of the Reds in the second half – but Wright sealed his treble and the points seconds later.
Two wins and two draws so far in the competition leave Rob Page’s team in a healthy position to advance to the knockout stages.
Liverpool grabbed the lead with a little more than two minutes on the clock.
Joe Upton lifted in a dangerous free-kick from the right channel that found Wright unmarked at the far post – and his header squeezed between the near post and the goalkeeper.
The in-form striker was able to celebrate his 12th goal of the campaign just 10 minutes later, too.
Several Reds players were dragged down inside the area from a corner kick and the referee promptly pointed to the spot. Wright rolled the penalty down the middle.
Page’s charges were in near-total control of proceedings, though sustained a sucker-punch as the goals continued.
This one was Fenerbahce’s courtesy of an excellent move, Yolacan gliding forward and feeding Cagri Balta to his left. The latter squared the ball into the box for the arriving Sayar to slot in.
But Liverpool swiftly restored their cushion.
Inglethorpe dropped deep to capitalise on space and thread a pass in behind that the hosts could not cut out. Sonni-Lambie was there to pounce, rounding the ’keeper and nudging in.
There was a further goal apiece before the game had even reached its half-hour mark.
Inglethorpe supplied the Reds’ fourth with a close-range finish after Wright had bounded into room along the right and unselfishly set up his teammate.
Back came Fenerbahce and they got their second of the day as Lenix Conde was tackled in the area and Sayar clinically curled the loose ball beyond Bailey Hall.
On the cusp of half-time, Oliver O’Connor was a whisker away from a fifth Liverpool goal with a well-struck free-kick from 25 yards that was narrowly wide.
It was practically a repeat straight from the restart as O’Connor curled another set-piece, this one certainly needing the stretching tip over by home goalkeeper Ruzgar Akgul.
Torrential rain was complicating conditions and there was a reduction in goalmouth action as the second period progressed.
In keeping with the spirit of the first half, though, a burst of activity saw each side add one more to their goal tally.
Fenerbahce got the deficit back down to one when Yolacan pulled a low strike into the bottom left corner after a series of blocks in the box.
Instantly, the Reds responded. Luca Eden deftly moved through the centre and threaded a perfect pass forward for Wright to send a first-time effort in for his hat-trick.
The Liverpool captain was denied a possible fourth late on by a debatable offside decision and, in stoppage time, Fenerbahce’s Ali Demirbilek was sent off for a kick out at O’Connor.
