“It was very emotional. A special day. A special day for my mum, my wife, my kids. It’s incredible to be champions and no-one can take this one away from us. Obviously I chose this club because I felt like it could happen, it could happen that I felt this connection. I love this club, I love the fans, I love what Liverpool stands for. I’m really happy that I’ve extended [my contract] for two years. The love doesn’t go unnoticed, so keep going.
“I was pretty clear that I wanted Alan Hansen to give me the trophy, and Mark and Jo from the Owen McVeigh Foundation because I work quite closely with them behind the scenes. I was really determined to get Alan Hansen to be here and to give me the trophy. I’m glad he wanted [to] because I met him before and obviously he’s one of the best centre-backs that Liverpool ever had. It was meant to be and it looked great as well.”
Mohamed Salah
“It’s incredible, incredible. Last time we didn’t have a chance to do it in front of the Kop. Today we had a chance. It’s an incredible feeling to win the Premier League for this club. I don’t think [I’ve ever heard the fans so loud]. Last time, we won it in the pandemic so it wasn’t really a great feeling. But still the Premier League. Winning the second one with the fans in Anfield, especially the Spurs game and now… you can see [what it means].”
Ryan Gravenberch
“It’s really amazing. If you saw the fans… it’s really nice to have this moment. I’m proud I’m here and can be in this moment. To be honest, I’m really happy with it [my campaign]. I think nobody talked before the season that I was capable of doing this, and I’m happy that I could show myself again.”
Curtis Jones
“It doesn’t get much better. I’ve worked all year for this, the whole of my life for it. And just to be a part of this team and a part of this club, I’m just grateful – so grateful. It’s better [than in 2020] because I’ve played even more games so now it feels like I’ve been a big part of the team and a part of the squad. That’s what it’s all about, the team. At the end of the year, if we come away with cups and trophies, that’s what it’s all about. There’s been times when I could have moaned or could have sulked when I thought I should have played more games – but I don’t care. It’s just all about the team. I’m a Scouser, I’ve come all the way through and I’m here. I’m just taking it all in.”
Alexis Mac Allister
“It’s so, so special. This club deserves it. When I arrived at this club, I said I was here to win trophies and this is maybe the biggest one you can get here. I’m really, really happy but I’m pretty sure that this is just the beginning.”

Harvey Elliott
“I can’t really put it into words, to be honest. It’s just an unbelievable experience, looking around the whole stadium, the celebrations, the enjoyment. Even outside the stadium, I’m looking forward to seeing all the scenes out there. The first time, it was COVID so we couldn’t really celebrate properly but now we are able to celebrate with the fans and we’re able to experience all of this. It’s going to be a long night but it’s just incredible, it’s unbelievable.”
Trent Alexander-Arnold
“I’ll remember these moments for the rest of my life, especially a day like today. It goes down as the best day for me in my life. A very, very special day and a very special achievement for the team and for the club.”
Alisson Becker
“We had a full house today to celebrate in front of our fans. They are a massive part of this club, I think the main part of this club. Everything we do, we don’t do it not for ourselves or for our families - of course we have individual ambitions and ambitions as a team - but every time we go onto the pitch and we work so hard, we do that for them as well. So, nothing is more fair that we could enjoy and celebrate in front of them. It makes everything more special.”
Cody Gakpo
“Amazing feeling, amazing experience with the fans. Difficult to describe. It’s more special because everybody is here, you can feel the atmosphere - it’s amazing and we are going to enjoy it.”
Caoimhin Kelleher
“It’s obviously really special, a nice atmosphere in the whole crowd. I’ve made a few appearances this season as well, so it’s nice to win something at the end of the season. It’s special memories for us all, we just soak up the atmosphere.”
Conor Bradley
“It’s hard to put into words, the scenes that have just happened, it’s just so special. To do it with the club I’ve supported all my life makes it even more special. I’m just on top of the world. When I moved over at 16, I didn’t imagine any of this was possible. To even just be here, I’m so proud.”
Andy Robertson
“It feels like a long wait to finally get your hands on it. Getting the trophy is always so special. We’ve obviously won it early so it has felt like an age still for it to come around. But seeing Virg lift it and just being able to lift it in front of the fans finally for a long wait, it’s a special day.”
