Plymouth Argyle head coach Miron Muslic said he studied Liverpool boss Arne Slot's work before he moved to England.
The Pilgrims face the Premier League leaders in the FA Cup fourth round on Sunday as Argyle's new Austrian boss prepares for his first taste of the competition.
Muslic replaced former England captain Wayne Rooney at Home Park last month having previously been head coach at Belgian side Cercle Bruges.
Slot's Feyenoord side was one of the teams he studied to try and improve before the Dutchman succeeded Jurgen Klopp as Liverpool boss last summer.
