TransferLiverpool sign Bradley Barcola from Paris Saint-Germain

The French forward put pen to paper on a long-term contract with the Reds at the AXA Training Centre after passing a medical and finalising the transfer.

Barcola, who will wear the No.29 shirt, told Liverpoolfc.com: "It's a great pride to be able to play for Liverpool. I'm very happy.

"It took a long time but I'm really happy today to be able to play for Liverpool and all I want is to be on the pitch and be able to play.

"I hope to achieve very big things. First of all, winning the Premier League – it's one of my biggest dreams in my life.

"It is to do that and to stay in this team in the long term – that's why I signed a long contract – and I hope I can do it."

A hugely exciting talent with the ability to play in any role across the front line, Barcola arrives following a three-year spell with PSG, where he made 152 appearances, scored 39 goals and delivered 35 assists.

He also lifted a host of major honours during his time at Parc des Princes – including back-to-back Champions League titles and three successive Ligue 1 crowns.

His breakthrough in professional football previously came at Olympique Lyonnais, making his senior debut for them in November 2021.

Barcola produced seven goals and 11 assists in 47 outings for Lyon before joining PSG in August 2023.

On the international stage, having debuted in June 2024 he has played 28 games for France to date and been on the scoresheet six times.

Three of those goals came at this summer's World Cup as Barcola was ever-present during his nation's run to a fourth-placed finish.

Barcola added: "I had the chance to play twice in this stadium and I saw the atmosphere and how the fans were behind the Liverpool players.

"When I knew about Liverpool's interest in me, I didn't ask questions and I knew it was a very big club for me."
