Liverpool set a new club record during Monday night’s Premier League meeting with Newcastle United.

By getting on the scoresheet at St. James’ Park via Ryan Gravenberch’s opening goal, the Reds extended their streak of netting in consecutive away league fixtures to 22 – a best-ever run in LFC history.

It began back in April 2024 under Jürgen Klopp, with his successor Arne Slot responsible for 20 of the overall total since he took charge last summer.

Slot’s current team also equalled a club record set during the Klopp era (March 2019 to February 2020) by making it 36 home and away top-flight league outings in a row in which they have scored.

That run has been active since September 2024 after the Reds drew a blank versus Nottingham Forest at Anfield.
