Liverpool's stoppage-time winner at Nottingham Forest was their 48th in the 90th minute or later in the Premier League.

The Reds grabbed all three points from their visit to the City Ground on Sunday in dramatic fashion.

Moments after seeing an effort on the cusp of full-time ruled out for handball by VAR, Alexis Mac Allister was able to celebrate for real with 97 on the clock.

The Argentinian tucked home a rebound from Virgil van Dijk's header to secure a 1-0 victory for Arne Slot's side.

Liverpool's tally of 48 winning goals scored in the 90th minute or later in the division is, at time of writing, at least 12 more than any other team.

It was the third such occasion the Reds have done so in the current Premier League season - also the most among all clubs.
