Liverpool reportedly have a clear run at Crystal Palace star Marc Guehi as Chelsea eye different targets despite a serious knee injury for Levi Colwill.

The England defender is out of contract at Selhurst Park next summer with Oliver Glasner's side running out of opportunities to recoup a fee for his services.

Guehi will be available as a free agent at the end of next season and reports suggested the Londoners may enter the market to sign their former academy prospect following news of Colwill's surgery after suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury.

According to The Telegraph, Liverpool are in pole position to sign the 25-year-old with Chelsea targeting other options in the market.
