A Liverpool U19s squad will embark on another UEFA Youth League campaign in 2026-27.

The senior team's qualification for the Champions League league phase provides the opportunity for Academy players to test themselves against European opposition.

The young Reds will be placed in the Champions League path of the Youth League, a 36-team division that mirrors the schedule of the senior competition for the first six rounds of matches.

They will have three home games and three away trips in the opening section, and the sides that finish first to 22nd in the table move on to the knockout rounds.

The other 10 clubs involved in February's Round of 32 come from the domestic champions path.

Liverpool will discover their Youth League opponents when the Champions League fixtures are announced following the league-phase draw on Thursday August 27.

Led by Rob Page in the 2025-26 edition, the Reds finished 16th in the league phase but then suffered defeat away at MSK Zilina in the last 32.
