NewsLFC Women v Leicester fixture subject to pitch inspection

Match officials will check the Prenton Park pitch given the likelihood of plunging overnight temperatures and the possibility of a frozen surface.

Heat lamps and covers have been used on the pitch to give the 2pm kick-off the best possible chance of going ahead.

The outcome of the inspection will be published on Liverpoolfc.com and on club social media channels as soon as possible after the decision is known.
