NewsLFC Women injury update: Latest on Anna Josendal
Liverpool FC Women will remain without new signing Anna Josendal for this weekend's visit of Tottenham Hotspur.
The Reds welcome Spurs to St Helens Stadium on Sunday in an 11.55am GMT kick-off in the Barclays Women's Super League.
Beata Olsson and Leanne Kiernan are also expected to miss the fixture having been absent in recent weeks, while Martha Thomas is unable to feature against her parent club.
Head coach Gareth Taylor issued an update on the health of his squad on Friday during a pre-match press conference at the AXA Melwood Training Centre.
He told reporters: "For this game we obviously won't have Martha due to the terms of the loan. But outside of that we've pretty much got everyone [from the last match].
"Anna Josendal will still be a little bit longer unfortunately. That is a shame because I think I've said previously, attacking options at the front end of the pitch have been minimal for us in the first half of the season.
"Hopefully when we get her back, we'll be able to do a lot more at the top end of the pitch and within games as well. It's really been difficult to make substitutions other than defenders because that's where we've been loaded up on the bench.
"Things now feel a lot healthier and a lot more competitive in training. There's competition for places now, which we haven't had in certain positions, so that's huge for us."
