NewsLFC Women fitness update: Kerr, Holland, Bonner, Parry and Thomas
Gareth Taylor provided a comprehensive update on the fitness of the Liverpool FC Women squad ahead of the visit to Manchester City.
The Reds' final away match of their Barclays Women's Super League campaign is an encounter with the division leaders on Sunday lunchtime.
At a press conference on Friday, head coach Taylor was asked about the latest team news and said: "Ceri [Holland] is OK. Unfortunately we had to take her off in the last game [against West Ham United] because we kind of knew that was always going to be the case.
"You want to keep her on in that game because you feel like she's been really key to everything that we've done well over this period of games. She's OK.
"Gemma Bonner and Lucy Parry are still a few weeks away. Obviously I mentioned previously about Martha Thomas, who is going to be push and go before the end of the season.
"Sam Kerr is back in training but she's got to get up to speed with a lot more training volume before she can be considered.
"Outside of that, pretty much everyone is where we were."
