Liverpool FC continues to be the most-engaged club in the Premier League and has recorded more than one billion engagements on social media so far this season.

With 1.5 billion fan engagements, the club was the most-engaged club in the top flight during 2023-24.

And figures from Blinkfire at the end of January 2025 show LFC again leads the Premier League across all major social media platforms – including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok and YouTube – and is 200 million engagements ahead of its nearest rival across all platforms.

December 2024 saw the club’s biggest month for follower growth on social media so far this season, with three million followers added across all platforms, bringing the amount of global followers across its men’s and women’s social channels to more than 200 million.

Earlier this year, LFC reached 11 million subscribers on YouTube, after receiving the Diamond Play Button back in May 2024 for reaching 10 million subscribers on the channel – the first club in the Premier League to reach this milestone.

The club continues to see an increase in engagements due to its creative and original organic content, along with its behind-the-scenes content on matchdays featuring the men’s and women’s teams.

There is also content that features supporters such as Isaac Kearney, who captured the hearts of football fans across the world when his story was featured on club channels on Christmas Day.

Isaac’s story has now been viewed more than 145 million times and has attracted 14.5 million social media engagements.

The club is also the most-watched team in the Premier League so far this season as the Reds continue to break global audience records.

Updated independent data released recently by Nielsen revealed Liverpool reached a cumulative TV audience of 171.6 million viewers, more than any other club in the division, across their Premier League matches played between August and November 2024.
