Liverpool FC legends will return to Anfield this month as part of an exciting programme of Stadium Tour & Experiences events.

Former Reds goalkeeper Sander Westerveld is back in L4 on Sunday September 13 for the new Premium Legends Q&A.

Guests will enjoy refreshments and live music before hearing Westerveld reflect on his career at the club, share personal memories and reveal behind-the-scenes stories.

The Dutchman joined Liverpool in 1999 and made 63 appearances, playing an important role in the Reds' treble-winning 2000-01 campaign – including the League Cup final victory over Birmingham City, when he saved a penalty in the shootout to help his side lift the trophy.

Supporters will also have the opportunity to put their own questions to Westerveld, with every guest receiving a signed player profile card and photograph with him.

The Premium Legends Q&A is part of a wider programme of legends experiences at Anfield throughout September.

Phil Thompson will also appear on September 13, followed by Ian Callaghan on September 19 and then John Aldridge on September 26.

For supporters looking to make a full day of their visit, The Anfield Experience on September 13 combines the award-winning stadium tour with exclusive entertainment and hospitality with Westerveld.

Guests will go behind the scenes at Anfield, with access to areas of the stadium usually reserved for players and staff, before enjoying live entertainment, a Q&A hosted by Steve Hothersall, gourmet street food and refreshments. Guests will also receive 10 per cent off at the LFC Retail store.

Visitors can also explore a new museum exhibition celebrating Ian Rush, the club's all-time record goalscorer. The exhibition features an innovative hologram experience alongside personal memorabilia donated from Rush's illustrious career.

Highlights include his European and English First Division Golden Boot awards, all 16 of his Liverpool hat-trick match balls and three match-worn FA Cup final shirts from the victories in 1986, 1989 and 1992.
