Liverpool and Manchester United have been dealt a blow in their chances of signing Kingsley Coman amid reports the Bayern Munich star is set to sign a new contract.
Coman's current deal at the Allianz Arena is due to expire in the summer of 2023 and the winger had looked unlikely to pen an extension.
Bayern were concerned about letting Coman's contract run down after losing defender David Alaba on a free transfer to Real Madrid.
