On signing for Liverpool FC Women…

It’s an amazing feeling. Everyone has been so welcoming and I’m excited to get under way.

On working with Beard at Boston Breakers…

I played under Matt with Boston Breakers in 2015. He is an incredible person, a great coach and I’m lucky to be working under him again.

On her aim of trying to help the team achieve promotion back to the WSL this season…

Coming in as a second-division team, you want to get promoted and have that big story behind you. The girls have put themselves in a great position and it would be great to get promoted and fight to get back to where we want to be. I think this team has a lot of great potential.

On training with the team so far…

I’ve caught a few of the games watching back home and Matt has showed me some clips of the team. It was great to get on the training field with the girls and get going again after the winter break. The girls have been lovely, the coaching staff are great, so it’s good. I’m very excited to get going and can’t wait to play a game again because it has been a while. So I’m looking forward to getting under way here.

On her football journey so far…

I have been lucky enough to play for many different teams all over the world and build up my experience, and hopefully I can bring some of that experience here. I learned early on when you sign for a new team you’ve got to get thrown in and walk around the city and get to know everybody and the whole environment as soon as possible.

On her first impressions of the city…

I love Liverpool! It’s cool and I have had a look around at all the buildings and the history – there’s water, so that’s always good! It’s a lovely city.
