A spectacular Josh Sonni-Lambie effort from near the halfway line has been voted Liverpool U18s' Goal of the Season.

The Academy forward lobbed the Stoke City goalkeeper from distance in the young Reds' season-opening 5-1 victory.

It topped a supporter poll on Liverpoolfc.com, finishing just ahead of a Joe Bradshaw free-kick in the same game.

Sonni-Lambie also claimed third and fifth place in the results, with a Haydn Murray-Holme strike in between.
