Fuka Nagano featured for 45 minutes of Japan’s friendly victory over New Zealand on Monday afternoon.
The Liverpool FC Women midfielder played the first half of the contest in Murcia, which her country trailed 1-0 in at the interval.
Japan went on to win 4-1, however, following up a 2-0 success against the same opponents last week.
Earlier in the day, Reds goalkeeper Teagan Micah was an unused substitute for Australia in their 2-0 defeat of China.
