Three of the Liverpool senior squad were involved in international action on Saturday.

Reds skipper Jordan Henderson featured for the entirety of England’s 2-1 victory over Switzerland in a friendly at Wembley.

Luke Shaw and Harry Kane netted for the Three Lions as they came from a goal behind to claim the win.

Virgil van Dijk completed the whole 90 minutes as the Netherlands ran out 4-2 winners over Denmark in a thriller in Amsterdam that saw Christian Eriksen mark his return to international football with a goal.

In Dublin, Caoimhin Kelleher played the full game for the Republic of Ireland as they drew 2-2 with Belgium in a friendly at the Aviva Stadium. Divock Origi was an unused substitute for Belgium.
