NewsExpedia provides free travel to support LFC Women away this season

Matt Beard’s side enjoyed some memorable away victories on the way to winning the FA Women’s Championship title last term, and the travelling fans were a huge part of the success.

Now back in the top flight, it’s set to be an incredibly exciting season for the Reds, who played in front of a crowd of 27,500 at Anfield in the Merseyside derby in their last WSL match.

LFC Women’s first away game of the WSL campaign sees them visit Tottenham Hotspur Women at Breyer Group Stadium on Sunday October 16 (2pm BST kick-off).

Ben Latty, commercial director at Liverpool FC, said: “Expedia approached us with this idea to help get fans to the away matches and we were thrilled to be able to partner with them. It’s an incredible gesture to support our women’s team away this season.

“It’s set to be an exciting campaign in the WSL with a lot of hard work by Matt and the team during the off-season. Having fans at away games will make a huge difference.”
