Three Liverpool fans describe their powerful emotional attachment to Diogo Jota on the first anniversary of his sudden and tragic passing.
On July 3, 2025, the much-loved Reds forward and his brother, André Silva, lost their lives in a road traffic accident that occurred in Spain.
As part of the club’s commemorations of the anniversary, supporters Dan, Lorenzo and Olivia share their personal memories of Jota in the film below.
They detail the special impact Jota had upon Liverpool FC and everyone connected following his arrival in 2020, both as a player and a person.
The trio also poignantly reflect on the immense sadness caused by his loss, and explain the legacy the No.20 has left behind at Anfield.
