Commemorative edition of Liverpool FC programme this weekend

At the Reds’ Premier League clash with Crystal Palace on Sunday, the club will mark Monday’s 35th anniversary of the Hillsborough tragedy by paying tribute to the 97 fans who lost their lives as a result of the disaster.

A minute’s silence will be observed before kick-off alongside a Kop mosaic, while the programme features a dedicated cover in their memory.

Elsewhere inside the edition, Dominik Szoboszlai talks about wearing the famous No.8 jersey, the progress of Liverpool’s revamped midfield, and enjoying the pressure of the title race.

James McConnell reflects on some memorable firsts in a season that has seen him make the breakthrough into Jürgen Klopp’s senior squad, and we put the focus on Mohamed Salah after he became the first Reds player to score 20 or more goals in seven successive seasons.
