NewsCeri Holland's solo Everton effort wins LFC Women's Goal of the Season
The solo run and finish from Ceri Holland against Everton has won Liverpool FC Women's Goal of the Season award.
The Wales international ran with the ball from deep inside her own half and then curled into the top corner during a 3-2 win for the Reds at Goodison Park in March.
That effort was the clear winner in fan vote on Liverpoolfc.com, with the closest competition coming from Cornelia Kapocs.
The Swede's efforts at Anfield in the Merseyside derby and against Manchester City claimed second and third respectively.
Well-taken finishes from Beata Olsson – versus Arsenal and Chelsea – completed the top five.
