NewsCeri Holland voted LFC Women's Player of the Month for February
Ceri Holland has been voted Liverpool FC Women's Standard Chartered Player of the Month for February.
The midfielder picked up the award for the second time this season in recognition of her fine form.
Holland topped a supporter poll on Liverpoolfc.com, ahead of Jenna Clark and Mia Enderby in the results.
"It's obviously really nice to win, especially as it's voted for by the fans," she said.
"I'm really happy, it was a really good month for us as a team and it's definitely one we can build on.
"We have the best fans in the world and we have a special relationship with them.
"They have stuck with us this season and it has been hard at times and my song seems to have taken off a little bit, everyone has been singing it around here so it's good fun."
Holland played every minute of the Reds' four matches in February and delivered assists in the victories over Aston Villa and Everton.
The Wales international set up opening goals scored by Enderby on both occasions, the latter helping Gareth Taylor's side progress to the quarter-finals of the Adobe Women's FA Cup.
"The win over Aston Villa was really good and important," Holland continued.
"We managed to get quite a few goals that day, which is something we've struggled a bit to do this season, so it was a special result and one to build on.
"The win over Everton was really special, winning a derby and getting through to the next round.
"We love the FA Cup and we want to win the competition so that was a really good way to end the month."
