The Reds’ No.11 is set to play his 300th game in the competition at Amex Stadium on Monday night - alongside his 400th in total for Liverpool - and would become the fourth African player to reach that landmark, after Kolo Toure (353), Wilfried Zaha (305) and Jordan Ayew (303).
Plus, if he scores, Salah will set a new high-water mark for away goals netted in a Premier League campaign.
The Egyptian has notched 16 times on the road for the champions in 2024-25 so far – the joint-most in a single season in the division’s history, level with Harry Kane (2022-23) and Kevin Phillips (1999-00).
