Brighton manager Fabian Hurzeler says Liverpool’s interest in Yankuba Minteh is of no surprise, and expects interest in his players to “evolve” before the transfer window closes.
The Reds have seen a bid worth £50million rejected for the winger, who remains sidelined with an injury for a number of weeks.
Liverpool’s interest comes amid their search for a long-term replacement for Mohamed Salah.
Bradley Barcola remains their top transfer target, but talks with Paris Saint-Germain continue to rumble on over a deal worth a potential £130million.
It remains to be seen if Liverpool will test Brighton’s resolve with a second bid, but Hurzeler expects further development before the window shuts on September 1.
