Beata Olsson believes Liverpool can approach their Barclays Women's Super League opener away at Charlton Athletic with plenty of confidence after five wins out of five in pre-season.
The striker struck a superb hat-trick in the opening 20 minutes of last weekend's 7-1 victory against Durham at St Helens Stadium.
Speaking after collecting the match ball at full-time, Olsson told Liverpoolfc.com: "That was really fun and I think we absolutely deserved the win.
"It was a good game and we created a lot. I could have had a few more goals and a few of the other girls could have as well, but I think it was really good to get seven.
"I think I maybe could have had two more in the first half, but I'm very happy with getting three and it came from good pressure from the girls. It's every striker's dream to get goals and it's a good start."
The 25-year-old Swede also turned provider in the second half, put through by Marie Höbinger and opting to slide a perfect pass across goal for Ceri Holland to finish rather than seek a fourth herself.
"I'm happy to be a provider as well and it's also more dangerous for us if we can be unpredictable," Olsson continued. "I want to be an unpredictable player.
"I probably can go for goal there myself – that's what Ceri said to me after I passed her the ball – but I think it's good because the goalkeeper expects me to shoot.
"Instead, I lay it off to her, she gets an easy goal and it's better for the team!"
Olsson believes the win has left Gareth Taylor's side in good shape ahead of their trip to The Valley on Sunday afternoon.
Last season's top scorer also paid tribute to some of the Academy players who have taken positive minutes in the warm-up games.
Olsson said: "I think we're very ready for the season with a good squad with a lot of depth and fun players to play with. I feel like we're in a very good position.
"Vic [Jones] getting her goal today, that was so good, I'm very happy for her – it was a great goal as well.
"She was so composed and a lot of our young players are like that. Izzie [Breen] has been with us a lot as well and shows a lot of composure in the middle as well.
"Then we have Lola [Kay] and Ella [Jones], Maizie [Trueman] as well when she's been with us. It's been really good."
