Aurélie Csillag may have suffered an Achilles injury during Liverpool FC Women's Subway Players Cup tie against Birmingham City, according to head coach Gareth Taylor.
The Swiss forward exited Wednesday night's fixture at St Andrew’s on a stretcher shortly before half-time.
Taylor told Liverpoolfc.com post-match: "I think it might be an Achilles, which doesn't sound good. We know the nature of those types of injuries.
"That's what we didn't want tonight but it's the nature of the game and it can happen."
