Trent Alexander-Arnold is a nominee for the Premier League's Young Player of the Season accolade.

The Liverpool No.66 – also a candidate for the division’s Player of the Season award – is on the eight-strong shortlist in recognition of his stunning form in the top flight.

Providing two goals and 12 assists from right-back, Alexander-Arnold has featured in 31 league games in 2021-22 to help the Reds mount a title challenge and accrue 86 points so far.

He is up against Phil Foden (Manchester City), Conor Gallagher and Tyrick Mitchell (Crystal Palace), Mason Mount (Chelsea), Aaron Ramsdale and Bukayo Saka (Arsenal) and Declan Rice (West Ham United).
