What, you honestly thought we'd forgotten about a weather update?
Anyway, it is a lovely sunny, mild evening in Lancashire. Perfect for some pre-season football.
Ewood Park always a good venue to visit with the Reds.
Jürgen Klopp has spoken to LFCTV pre-match at Ewood Park...
"It's good. We chose these kind of games," the boss said of tonight's match.
"With the weather in England at the moment.. the pitch is dry, which is always another challenge with tired legs and all that stuff.
"All the full training that pre-season is it's a challenge. But we are not here to win the pre-season, so it's about facing different situations, difficult situations, and then being ready to find solutions. Or try to find solutions and if we don't have them then we know what we have to work on.
"We still have a few weeks to go, but of course tonight we are here and we want to see for us the next steps.
"We had a few very good sessions but we are not there for having good training sessions. That's important but we need to have good games. That's what we have to prepare for and that's what we are doing.
"So I'm really happy that we can play that game tonight."
Here's how Blackburn line up this evening...
