Real Betis defender Riza Durmisi has admitted he would consider a transfer switch to Liverpool were the Reds to make a firm offer.

Liverpool are reportedly tracking Durmisi and have sent scouts to watch the 23-year-old in action in recent weeks.

Durmisi has confirmed he is aware of Liverpool’s interest in him, but said he is happy at Betis despite the rumours about his future.

"I know about Liverpool’s interest," Durmisi told BT.

"But I do not know how practical it is.

"There will always be a lot of talk when you play in one of the world’s best leagues.

"I am in no way desperate to get away (from Real Betis).

"If other clubs are ready to pay, and if Betis will sell me, I will of course listen to the offer.

"This also applies to Liverpool. Anything else would be idiocy."

Durmisi is a Denmark international and has been a regular for Betis this season.

Reports claim that the defender is rated at around £17 million by his club.
