Liverpool remain keen on Borussia Dortmund midfielder Christian Pulisic, according to the Daily Mail, but his value continues to rise ahead of the January transfer window.

The Reds are believed to have failed with one approach for the 18-year-old over the summer, with Jurgen Klopp eager to raid his former employers for an exciting young talent.

Dortmund, though, were reluctant to sell and have since seen the USA international become a key part of their plans.

That is making it increasingly difficult for potential suitors to lure him away from the Bundesliga, with it now suggested that any club looking to do a deal would need to start the bidding at around the £27 million mark.
