Liverpool are reportedly interested in a move for Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani.

The Uruguay international has been heavily linked with a move away from Paris Saint-Germain this summer after struggling for game time at the Parc des Princes.

Premier League clubs Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea are all reportedly interested in signing the 29-year-old.

Juventus are also apparently tracking the Uruguayan, while the striker himself admitted he could join his Uruguay teammate Diego Godin at Atletico Madrid.

However Italian outlet TuttoMercatoWeb claim Liverpool are now interested in the striker.

The report claims Cavani wants to play in a more competitive league than Ligue 1.

And it adds his family are keen on moving to England, with Liverpool apparently ready to pounce.

Jurgen Klopp is on the lookout for a new striker this summer, and has already been linked with a move for Napoli’s Gonzalo Higuain.
