Edin Dzeko could be in line for a move to Liverpool, according to reports.

The former Manchester City striker has enjoyed a successful season with Roma, scoring 10 goals in all competitions.

But the Italian outfit are reportedly ready to sell him on in the summer if they sign Sevilla's Kevin Gameiro.

According to Tribal Football, Roma are ready to offer 8million euros (£6.2m) and Antonio Sanabria to Sevilla in order to secure Gameiro's signature.

And if they are successful in completing a deal, manager Luciano Spalletti will allow Dzeko to leave the club - with Liverpool his expected destination.

The Bosnian arrived at City from German side Wolfsburg for £27m in January 2011 and won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup and League Cup before moving to Italy.
Jurgen Klopp is likely to be in the hunt for an international striker this summer.

A marquee signing would provide ideal competition to Danny Ings, Daniel Sturridge and Divock Origi.

Liverpool aren't wasting any time in getting their summer business done early.

Widespread reports suggest a deal for Piotr Zielinski is edging closer, while Mainz's Loris Karius is  also said to be on the verge of moving to Anfield.
