Liverpool reportedly scouted Holland left-back Jetro Willems on Friday night ahead of a potential move.

The 21-year-old, who is his country’s first-choice left-back, was in action as the Netherlands suffered defeat to France.

Willems, who now has 16 international caps, has starred for PSV Eindhoven after recovering from an injury which saw him miss the beginning of the season.

Manchester City have also shown an interest in Willems, who is under contract with PSV until 2017.
