Liverpool have been cleared to snap up Mario Gotze with the midfielder told he’s not part of Carlo Ancelotti’s plans at Bayern Munich.

That’s according to German outlet TZ, who say the midfielder is now likely to move to the Premier League following the revelation.

Gotze had apparently been hoping for a second chance under the incoming Ancelotti having been frozen out under Pep Guardiola.

But with that now off the cards, Liverpool are clear to sign the play-maker who would be reunited with Jurgen Klopp again.

Gotze has already admitted the pair are texting and recent reports claimed Liverpool are set to make a bid of around £31million for his services.
